Dust Extraction System consists of Suction hoods, ducting, Bag filter with rotary valve & Centrifugal fan. A suction hood captures dust at dust generation point and same will transported through ducting to a Bag filter/Dust collector. A Bag filter/Dust collector removes the dust from the air and dust discharges through rotary valve. Centrifugal fan used to provide necessary exhaust volume & pressure.
Uses :
- "Nuisance" venting of conveyors, transfer points, packing stations and so on — this dust is often sent to waste.
- "Product collection" venting of classifiers, crushers, storage bins, air (pneumatic) conveying systems, mills, and flash dryers. This dust is often recovered because it has value.
- "Process gas filtration" venting of spray dryers, kilns, power boilers, reactors and so on. The collected solids may or may not be returned to the process.
