What is fan...? A fan is defined as rotary, bladed, Machine maintaining the continuous flow of air. The general purpose centrifugal fan has a volute or scroll shaped casing. The air enters through a circular inlet adapted for use either open inlet from atmosphere or duct connection. The outlet is rectangular and intended for duct or diffuser connection. The fan impeller may be direct driven or belt driven for flexibility in speed selection.
